Subject: Military Discount,
Dear Sir or Madam,
As we, my family, two boys and wife are currently staying here at Great Wolf Lodge in beautiful Williamsburg, Virginia and enjoying ourselves very much, I am wondering if it is possible for my family to utilize the advertised all Military discount of 30% that we've found on the google search engine.
Not knowing that such a gracious offer was available at the time of our original reservations we were unable to ask at that time. It would help us immensely if we could have such a discount.
I am a 21 year veteran of the US Army, but have been discharged since the late 1990's. Your assistance is appreciated.
Sincerely,
Thomas L. Dillon Jr.,
PS I have on my person the veterans I.D. card issued at the Veterans Administration/Hospital in Salem, Virginia.

Hello Thomas,
I'm glad your having a good time, while your here. I looked into what the military discount would be and unfortunately, as of today, your rate would be more. We have no way of knowing what the discount would have been when you made your reservation back in May. The web discount you have is good; your paying $279.99 plus fees, per night, and the rack rate is $389.99, plus fees, per room, per night.
In the future if you come to stay with us, Use the Promo code "Heroes" and receive a 20% discount. I'm not sure what the Google search engine is advertising at 30%.
Feel free to contact me, if you have any other questions.

I couldn't believe that a company such as this couldn't look back at their records for several months to determine what our discount would have been at the time when we reserved out substandard room. That just goes to show that they aren't really sincere about helping the countries veterans and service members; at least the person who wrote the reply isn't.
Even the 20% discount would have helped us a lot. Based purely on this, bogus, reply, I wouldn't opt to stay at the Great Wolf Lodge in the future. The savings could be used to enjoy more of what Williamsburg has to offer. Besides, we own a vacation property at the Williamsburg Plantation that we could have used had we known this joint is such a rip off.
